Growing up, motorsport was a way of life. Three elders brothers who customised, showed, and raced their machines to national and international championship and record holding, provided the platform for Laynie to get started. She followed in the best way she knew how as a teenager … straight into Sports Management. She started assisted in the club, and quickly developed into management. She developed the club into the premier motorcycle racing promoter within the state, and one of the most prominent in the country in the mid-80s. Since then she has managed race teams, riders, and in recent years the marketing and communications for the shortlived Benelli Race Team. As a consultant, she was able to assist with the government funding for the development of Western Sydney International Dragway. Her pedigree in motorsport is impressive, and long, to say the least!
As a team player, she brings her creative strategies to all that she does and inspires others to do the same with a unique 360 degree perspective on sales and marketing insights. Her passion and energy is exemplified in her client-care building trust and attention to detail.
She’s a straight-shooter and gets the job done, doing first things first .. without the fluff and pretence. When she’s not working with clients, she’s in the gym training for her next bodybuilding competition. She really lives up her to nickname – the Marketing Muscle. Every business needs to flex their “Marketing Muscle” to ensure leadership.

I worked on the Toshiba Yamaha team when Warren Wiling was the race team manager.
Warren was building a H2 750 Kawasaki foir a customer. he asked me to jet the fully modified bike and handed me the trade plate !! I had trouble doing this on the streets of the north shore of Sydney. When I returned to the workshop and spoke with Warren, he walked inside, grabed his helmet and took this H2750 for a ride around the busy streets of Artarmon. The year was I think about 1983.
If everyone would prefer to remeber Warren having never ridden a bike since his accident then fine, but it is not true.
Warren & I also did a few laps on my RS250 Honda at AIR in 1985. I was sponsoring Geoff Mcnaughton at the time and Warren was the mechanic.
